Don’t forget when they yell at everyone to get out of the pool like there’s a terrorist attack underway. Usually it’s because someone has pooped in the pool but the vibe is still extreme danger.

wow. in MS, our pools r usually privately managed by Ms. Charlene down the road & ur supposed to have a membership, but Ms. Charlene doesn't come by until around 11pm to lock up & if ur not causing problems, she's not going to kick u out. the lifeguard is Ms. Charlene's 15yo grandson & he's only there until 4pm. the worst thing u'll prob have to deal with is a feral child or a gaggle of teens who'll use ur pool toys w/o asking. there's an ancient vending machine with a scant variety of beverages nearby so u should bring ur own. there's a "no glass" sign but no one will check ur bag. they do not provide sunscreen & it's 95⁰ w 100% humidity
