@nowthisimpact: Baltimore is the latest example showing that community-based solutions to crime actually work — not more aggressive policing and harsher punishment.
it's almost as if redirecting $ back into our communities benefits everyone! how strange 🤔

Liberals forgot how we got to those highest rates….they assume if it’s down from the peak that it’s success. The trend is good but thinking it’s all social programs is more complicated than that. School system gets some of the most tax dollars in country and have worse schools….

Our tax money going into supporting schools and facilities for youth even for teens definitely helps. Especially for sports. Keeps them away from bad influences. Funding for low income folks should definitely go to help pay for rent and stamps depending on their situation like if it's difficult finding jobs nearby without a car or physical/mental health issues that makes it hard to work too. Our system isn't good enough to accommodate people and families especially lower class folks unfortunately. We have more than enough money to help certain cities struggling with crime and homelessness

let's see the number at the end of the year. there's 68 homicides compared to 88 this time last year. that's not exactly good lol. there's still over 160 non fatal shooting at this point and Baltimore isn't that big of a city. per square mile it still ranks one of the unsafe cities in the US

To think, if Democratic Leftists, Third-party and non-voters had voted in November 2024 for the educated Afro-Indian Woman. This could be the USA right now, instead of the Hunger Games/Handmaid's Tale mash-up 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

This makes the Krazy Kolonizing Klowns mad. They want to convince everyone the Black Panthers were a gang. But it was always social work that created a foundation for the majority of our social community programs today. I love seeing the unapologetic progress of the community being led by a representative that implements proper reform of taxes and resources.

The Biden administration helped start programs like these and it has worked in many cities, driving violent crime down.

yeah Baltimore City police has a history of lying about crime rates. It's sad that the government has to mentor a group of people. Remember it all starts at home. making poverty and excuse for homicide will open Pandora's box. that's why the city is more lawless and good citizens are tax burdened.

That has always been the answer but there’s no money in a peaceful black community so “we don’t want that” 🙄
