We need community. People, particularly children thrive in communities. Unfortunately, we've been taught that the nuclear family is the most important and I think that's why so many get divorced. It's too much time one-on-one without being able to appreciate your person from afar and how they communicate with others.

The powerful message that can be given by just a DAD volunteering in the classroom is vital!!! I loved when Dads wanted to come in and teach the fourth graders to DO something. I should be Secretary of Education. I could run the perfect school. 😊

Respectfully disagree. Both boys and girls need fathers first and foremost as much as they need a mother. Yes I said as much. Mothers will nurture you into life fathers will raise you into the world. Both roles are essential. Everything else comes distant second.
