@yellowtuxjesse: Baseball players don’t dance…well that was always the case with transitional baseball, but not in Bananaland. The first step was to convince the players to dance, and that was not easy. But once we found the right players, their dancing became a hit with the fans. That led to bringing on @dance_izm3 our breakdancing coach, to bringing on the Banana Nanas, senior citizen dance team, to the Man-Nanas, to @thedancing_ump to now numerous in game dances and performances. It took one experiment and the willingness of the players to not care what other people think and just have fun. Traditionalists still may not like it, but we are not for them. Banana Ball is for anyone who wants to have fun and not take themselves too seriously…and dancing helped us take that leap.
