vehicle up to 3.5t with trailer up to 3.5t hubby had his towing course booked but they cancelled it on him because they was scrapped

It’s a case of using more common sense and taking it steady when towing a trailer and in regards to reversing that’s another ball game takes practice steering in opposite directions small steering

You used to require a new licence to tow a trailer up to 3.5ton but that was scrapped in 2021

So as I passed in 2016 I need a separate licence to tow a trailer, even though I have a PCV licence to drive buses! logic lol

ironically trailer test was scrapped in December 2021 as I passed my test sept 2021

my daughter was well happy she didn't have to do a test she hooked up her horsebox and away she went. She could reverse park it first attempt she wants to do class 1 next
