ttown is boring when you get too used to it, stay away from the west side no matter how good some of the food might be, cops are everywhere so watch that speed, everyone sleep with everyone so be careful, network with people outside your major and locals because it will always come in handy around here, and have fun!!

Use it to your advantage remember that you are young and black and that some advisors may not have your best interest and to learn how to make classes for yourself because they will do things for money for the school and to get out and network because you are in school for yourself not for the opinions of others who will not matter at all in a year or even then and build relationships with professors

Always have a rain jacket, go to the games (football, basketball, etc.), stay hydrated, network as much as possible, don’t be afraid to meet new people, don’t chase what isn’t meant for you (relationships, friendships, etc.), pray, enjoy college but stay on track, and find a club/group that aligns with your interests.
