@kirstinczernek: When we were told Luca’s counts were low and we would have another week before starting chemo, my mind instantly went to “ok how can we make this the best week”. It also happens to be the last week of summer for my big kids so an opportunity to make it extra special. We has been wanting to visit @treelofts_tn for a while and when I reached out they only had availability for the exact dates we needed, it was so God 🥹. So we packed, loaded up the car and headed an hour and a half south to the mountains. It’s pure magic there. It’s so peaceful and unbelievably beautiful. The cabin we stayed in is called the Top of the Rock Cabin. It’s four bedroom, 3 bath, it’s so specious and has a hot tub! It was a dream getaway for our family and exactly what we needed headed into the school year and another round of chemo for Luca. I love filming these ordinary moments as a family, it’s the ones that bring tears to my eyes because they are so sacred.
