It's grade listed building so cannot bee demolished rather it will be renovated.

it's what Gavin Callaghan dose, he tried to do the same to laindon community centre, he sent workmen in to damage it, then said it was unsafe, but the residents didn't let it happen, look how busy it is now

It's been overdue repairs for a number of years... I believe they are currently undertaking major repairs which is why it got "emptied"
