But you are so right tho. 🖤 the Avengers metaphor! I’ve been using that one too lately! I also miss the authenticity in the online space during the pandemic. The synergy was synergistic. I’m not feeling the stagnation that we are experiencing right now, but I get why it is happening.

Anarchist, very often have experienced life in a very black and white way. or they have experienced instant some of the very worst parts of life and oftentimes it shapes their viewpoint of " if you are not all in, you are all out." sometimes in movements and communities that is necessary. it's difficult for someone like me who is able to see both sides like Chanel lol! BUT anarchist are very important, especially when it comes to blazing trails in new territory.

the superhero analogy is big (im also a comic nerd) because I think folk haven't asked if they're forming the Avengers, if they wanna be an X-man or if they wanna be in the Fantastic Four. every team dont think they same but they all save the world even id they conflict and disagree

Lmaooo. Please come see me! I don’t play w Chicago winters either fren. And you’re absolutely right abolition & anarchy definitely overlap & should coexist w each other & other ideologies. & it does give our way or the highway online. Which is weird and only hinders movement. We absolutely HAVE to be in coalition with ppl who aren’t in community w. Us cuz our communities are intentionally disenfranchised to weaken our liberation efforts.
