What I went to the hospital is on prescription medication. They told me that I didn't need it because they would just provide me the medication.

Pillow and blanket are a non-negotiable. If I’m about to be wrecked from popping a baby out, I want to feel some comfort from home. Idc if I’m only there 24hrs.

where I'm from the hospital don't give u extra blanket/pillow half of the time they don't have enough pillows for everyone so people bring their own and hospital forget to give u meds or they give one paracetamol which does nothing

I’ll tell ya now, I’m packing my own medication because my last delivery. I would wait literally HOURS for them to bring me medication I was due for. They forgot it multiple times and I was hurting. I will be bringing my own so if I need to take care of myself I can!

you never know how long you’re gonna be there, anything can happen! labor shakes combined with the freezing hospital and cold meds going into the iv, my fuzzy blanket SAVED me.

Blanket? No. Pillow? Yesssssss yes I absolutely did need my own pillow. Hospital pillows suck and I’m use to sleeping with at least 3 at my own home
