My dad has Parkinson’s and was a hoarder and had lived alone for over 20 yrs. He has mental illnesses and personality disorder and was an alcoholic who never went to treatment after 2 yrs I broke I couldn’t handle it. My heart goes out to you, you’re doing such a great job!!! 💜

They don't mean it. I am so grateful my grandma has more good days than bad (currently) I try to keep her on the positive side of things. But you never know where they get stuck.

Talk to her about oranges, and grapes. My mom had dementia before she died and she love random weird convo.
