The line comes off as sexually scummy, I think about it all the time since BCS is my favorite show oat. Jimmy never acted like that and I can’t see the transition to it even with the trauma that fully transformed him into Saul but I accept it anyway. Obviously I could talk about this stuff for hours 😂

Saul was more gritty and real in breaking bad. Not just because of what happened in better call Saul but because the had no idea that would make a prequel. Even the Saul at the end of the series when it time jumps is not really the same Saul we see in breaking bad.

Spoilers - I personally think it tracks. I watched bcs first and then bb for the first time. Saul became a heartless creep in bb after what happened with Howard and Kim 💔 makes sense. It also really fills in the gap leaving so much to the imagination of how their dynamic must have shifted. It hilarious, ironic, and tragic all at the same time. Knowing that jimmy use to exist underneath the cold, but calculated humor that Saul brought to every one of his scenes in bb just gave it so much more substance. So glad I watched it in that order.
