CSS has gotten so nice and rich browsers might need GPUs to render all these calculations in the future 😂

That sounds cool, but realistically,I cannot imagine implementing this from Sigma and then QA comparing it to Figma during testing. So it's great, but hard to document in design and test for QA. Also in the code it's essentially an overcomplicated magic number. Educate me if I'm wrong, because I'd love to use it more

Doesn't using clamp for the width essentially do the same thing as using min-width and max-width?

Actually there is another unit, cqw, that is relative to the container width! 😎

Ben Wine :
yuu don't need to use calc() inside of clamp(), min() and max() css functions since they are already math functions an will calculate your math expressions without calc()

it's like when you ask someone for directions on Ireland:
"oooh, you don't want to be starting from here..."
CSS designers never tried to get it right first time😕

i think there is an option to skip calc if you are already in calculation context like clamp

Pro tip: Set root font-size to 62.5%. This will make 1.6rem on a standard screen roughly equal to 16px, and makes it very ergonomic to do responsive and accessible fonts.
