The softest Pumpkin Cake with brown butter caramel cream cheese frosting.  Recipe Below:  Y’all I slightly adapted (just a teeny tiny bit) this recipe that I found on tiktok and I love it! Shout out to @Better From Scratch: Lauren A for the amazing original recipe!  Wet ingredients: One 15oz can of puréed pumpkin One cup of canola oil 3 teaspoons of vanilla extract One cup of white granulated sugar 3/4 cup of dark brown sugar  4 eggs Dry ingredients:  2 cups all purpose flour 2 tsp baking powder  1 tsp baking soda  1 tsp cinnamon  1 tsp pumping pie spice 1 tsp ground cloves  1 tsp nutmeg 1/2 tsp salt  Browned butter cream cheese frosting:  1/2 cup of browned butter cooled  One 8oz block of cream cheese softened to room temp 3 and 1/2 cups of powdered sugar  2-3 tablespoons of heavy cream  Last- use the Store bought (I use Kroger brand) dessert caramel in the glass jar to drizzle on top  Directions: Whisk your wet ingredients together in a large mixing bowl Sift your dry ingredients together in a separate mixing bowl and then gently fold in the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. You can whisk after just don’t overmix.  Add your cake batter into a  9 by 13 inch cake pan lined with parchment paper. And bake it 350°F for 35 minutes.  Mine took a little bit longer, but check it with a toothpick at about a minute 32 and if the toothpick comes out clean, your cake is done.  Don’t be like me 🙄. Let the cake cool and then ice the cake with the browned butter cream cheese frosting.  Then, drizzle the dessert caramel on top of the frosting and swirl it into the frosting before cutting, serving and enjoying!
