@baronvarman:As a civilized, modern and developed country, Thailand should follow and recognize international law, UN and ICJ. That's it. If anyone tries to run away from the law and court. They know who they are!
Why should Cambodia be forced to agree with Thailand on using the 1/50,000 map, which was unilaterally drawn by Thailand, while Cambodia relies on the 1/200,000 map that was officially recognized by the international law, UN and International Court of Justice (ICJ) and had already been accepted officially by Thai government under the 1904/1907 Franco-Siam international agreements?
If Thailand insists on using the 1/50,000 map, it clearly reflects Thailand’s intention to illegally encroach upon Cambodian territory (Preah Vihear Temple, Prasath TaKeabey Temple, Prasath Ta Maon Thom, Prasath Tamoan Touch, Annses, Emerald Triangle zone, Prey Chan village, Obey Chaon district, etc...), in direct violation of international law. This is also the main reason why Thailand refuses to bring the matter back to the ICJ, instead seeking every possible excuse to launch aggression against Cambodia.
Thailand is attempting to mislead the international community and conceal the fact that it is acting as an aggressor, bullying a smaller and weaker country.
