I had a foster kitten that I did fading kitten protocol on for THREE DAYS. I was finally taking him to the vet to euthanize. He decided AT THE VET while they were getting euthanasia meds ready to come back to life. He is now eight years old.

One time my dog died like DEAD DEAD then I started petting her before we buried her & she took a big deep breath then popped up. Lived for 3 more months 😭

This was Clementine who was acting a fool like that with fading kitten, until I stayed up around the clock rubbing syrup on her gums every 2 hours to keep her alive for 5 days. She just turned 2. 😩

As a bottle foster keep on hand pedialyte unflavored and kayro syrup. Keep them warm and syringe feed them a mixture of the electrolytes and syrup. You can also mix some electrolytes and syrup in the formula. Fading is stressful for sure.
