a christian creator was saying what happens after the tribulation etc. and that the bride of christ is raptured and becomes ageless and does not wed or have children, essentially they all become angels. entertaining that that could be god’s plan for me gave me peace. whether that’s a fever dream idc. it brings me peace AND it brings me closer to god. win win🖤

I truly care because I’m going through that as well. Ever since I was a kid I dream of getting married, and I always thought at a young age that I’ll be around my 20s getting married… I’m 28 right now. When I pray to the Lord growing up, he would always tell me to stay patient. And as I look back, I was still growing before I could even get married. I’ve learned so much now than I ever did before. And I truly believe God wanted me to grow spiritually and mentally before I got married. Now what I have to do is to live my life and learn how to take care of myself before I finally reached that turning point to marriage. And he also wanted me to accept where I am being single. To joy

And with the divorce rate being over 50%, there’s obviously something that isn’t working with the way we’re currently doing things! And we should talk about it! But people are so scared to talk about that because it makes it a real possibility that it is very likely to happen to them. Especially when the glitz and glam of a “wedding season” calms down

I totally feel the same way. It kind of bugs me when I see people date just so they’re not lonely. I’m slowly learning how to be happy at 28 with no spouse and doing the things I dream about (like traveling!) thank you!!

Yes! I feel the same, I just want to live a fulfilling life for me and enjoy friends, family and possibly some lovers sprinkled along the way. But don’t need or want marriage and kids myself, and in my 30s, society looks at me like i have 5 heads. So sad.

Same but different: I’m divorced with kids, my very well meaning friends and family always ask when I’m going to start dating again….honestly I don’t want to. I have PEACE for the first time in my life even with the single parent struggles. Freedom to follow wherever God leads.
