Full Recipe ⇩ | JAPCHAE Part 7 | “엄마 (mom), what’s for dinner tonight?” Ingredients (3 servings): * 250g dangmyeon (sweet potato starch noodles) * 1/2 white onion * 1 large carrot * 100g shimeji mushrooms * 300g pork chop * 150g leek * 1 tsp salt * olive oil Pork chop marinade: * 2 tbsp soy sauce * 1 tbsp honey * 1 tbsp mirim * 1/2 tbsp minced garlic Dangmyeon sauce: * 2 tbsp olive oil * 1 tbsp minced garlic * 8 tbsp soy sauce * 2 tbsp mirim * 1 tbsp honey powder * 2 tbsp honey * 1/2 cup water Recipe: 1. Soak the noodles in warm water for 30 minutes and set aside. 2. Slice your pork chop, carrots, onion, leek and set aside. 3. Heat one tbsp of oil over a pan on high heat and stir fry your pork chop. Add the pork chop marinade and continue cooking. Set aside once fully cooked. 4. Add your carrots, onion, and mushrooms to empty pan. Add one tsp of salt and stir fry vegetables. Set aside with pork chop. 5. Add your dangmyeon sauce to empty pan over medium high heat and boil until bubbling (approx 2-3 min.) 6. Add the dangmyeon once sauce is boiling and stir fry noodles in for 3 more minutes. 7. Add stir fried vegetables and pork chop back into pan, and add leek at the very end. Mix all together. 8.
