@unlockthroughdance: Ok don’t be mad at me for #1 but….. 1. STOP PLAYING SO MUCH! 80% of injuries can be avoided if you stop playing. When you should be working on choreo instead you’re play fighting with your dance bestie 🤦🏽♀️ 2. Now warming up properly. I used to go into practice do a quick 1,2 stretch and think I was ready to dance but then wondering why I was always pulling something! Make sure you’re warming up your muscles then stretching which takes us to 3 3. DYNAMIC STRETCHES! There’s no rule that you can’t do static stretches at all but dynamic stretches will help ALOT more before you start dancing. 4. Proper form! Doing a technique wrong can definitely cause injuries if your placement, landing, and overall form is not correct!
