that's why jewelry should be passed to daughters. my uncles sold all the jewelry the next day my grandma died, we managed to buy a few pieces but they wanted cash ASAP.

I get that it’s the hustle but I wish old style jewelry like this would be taken to a jewelry reseller before being sold just for the gold because those pieces would be so well appreciated by the right buyer since it’s hard to find good condition jewelry from that era. Not saying ur wrong for buying it, but I wish people would bring it to a reseller first if it’s a particular piece like this(with the coins).
