I lost my dog on August 4. I get wanting to talk about her, I do the same. I can make a suggestion, start a memory book. I’ve printed out pictures and write down memories. I put everything in there. It lets me talk about her and remember her.

I know exactly how you feel. Sarge passed in 2019. I still cry about him sometimes. It’s never not sad, and you won’t ever “get over it.” But it will get easier.

I lost my soul dog Monday & I genuinely don’t think I will ever be the same. I spent more time with her than my husband as someone who works from home. I hardly ever even went to the bathroom alone, she was always there. the silence is truly so loud and painful, I relate to everything you said 😞

I didn’t stop crying daily until I adopted another dog. It was really hard to have the empty space. Now it’s a lot easier to remember her without getting too sad and letting joy back in with her new brother.

You can tell us all about her! I lost my Kona girl last month. She was 16 and my only baby. It’s so quiet in my house and it’s the worst sound. I’m so sorry. I agree this pain is so horrible and I can’t stand the thought of living the rest of my life without her. Day by day ❤
