forget the glitters… sometimes all you need is a flawless base for your nights out this season! 🎄 (especially if you’ve been lazy to do a full glam like me haha) 1. Work in light layers — the amount you see influencers put on might look nice on video but this registers cakey in real life. Slowly build the opacity and pigment that works for you and this will make your makeup look airbrushed in the end. 2. Speaking of airbrushed, do the KJH method and prime your brush — Meaning you do a preblend of all your products (both creams and powder) at the back of your hand, especially if you’re new to make up. This will ensure you a well blended finish that’s never patchy. 3. Use high quality tools — I’ve talked about this a lot already on my page but as a reminder, the quality of your makeup brushes are as equally important as the products you use. (I’ve personally been loving @Hourglass Cosmetics and @rephr) 4. If you over powder — use a light layer of setting mist to make your makeup look one with your skin. I love Mac fix+ for this. 5. Bonus tip — if you’re taking pics, which I’m sure you are haha, you’d want your makeup to register well on camera.
