As a Russian speaker, Cy Yu's first try with that accent was actually the most accurate. It's a bit softer "e" sound ("и" in Cyrillic), not the "ы". But the emphasizes are right. Tbh it's spelled weird, I'd go with "Kirill"

First of all, it's not Russian, it's Cyrillic alphabet. 2 saints originating from Greece created it for the Slavic regions (Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia/F.Y.R.O.M, I may be missing a country or two, please add it) Saint Cyril and Saint Methodius

He’s not Russian at all. The name Kyryll Chudomirovich Flins actually mixes different Slavic origins: Kyryll and Chudomir are Bulgarian/South Slavic names, while Flins comes from the Lusatian Slavic god Flins, a mythological figure associated with death and the underworld from modern eastern Germany and western Poland. So his roots are clearly West Slavic / Lusatian, not Russian. Hope it helps 💜 P.S even the transliteration of the name - „Kyryll“ - is literally Bulgarian/Ukrainian, not Russian „Kirill“.
