As someone who is desensitized to gore, that is not the norm or a good thing in any way. I witnessed a very violent event as a child which contributed to me searching for it as a teen with unrestricted internet access. That likely very much just worsened my trauma. The negative reaction normal people get is there for a reason, because humans should not witness that shit even once, nevermind regurarly.
