also when they said they had been grooming him as a child, i believe that when cam said he didn’t wanna play fb no more, they killed his dad so he had no other choice but to carry on playing the sport his dad loved so much

Thank youuuu the ending was all about how his dad was the main villian! People don’t understand that and probably it tickles a lot of people’s concept if family above everything. Cause sometimes, you’re family doesn’t have the best interest for you as a person

i enjoyed this movie but they could’ve dove deeper. i feel like it was all surface level. we could have gotten more insight on Isaiah’s background. we could’ve gotten more background on Cam’s dad. it should have been a longer movie.

To me, Cam broke the cycle, and that's the real resolution. He wasn't the pawn the owners wanted him to be, and he wasn't the flawless hero he thought he had to be—he became something in between. Something stronger. By facing the darkness, resisting it, and choosing his own path, he freed himself from Isaiah, Elsie, and the system that tried to control him. Whether he walks away from football completely or plays it on his own terms, Cam became the G.O.A.T. by not becoming the G.O.A.T. He earned greatness by rejecting the false version of it that was forced on him and choosing to define himself instead.

I just wish he signed the contract I feel it would’ve been a little better had it come full circle with him signing the contract and then his family is set he goes on to get a bunch of rings then it pans to another child wanting his place

I feel like the storyline was rushed, which is why most people hate it. Even with understanding all the subliminal messages, I still felt like a big part of this movie lacked something. Especially to tie everything together. The visuals were amazing and the messages were spot on with society but this film still lacked a lot.
