@americana.pipedream: The Soviet GP5 Gas Mask is an iconic piece of CBRN gear. They were produced beginning in 1962 with production ceasing in 1990. It was ubiquitous throughout the Soviet Union and Eastern Bloc countries, often being issued to civil defense organizations. This kit comes with a gas mask bag, GP-5 mask and one filter. We do not recommend wearing or using the filter this mask comes with. Instead, purchase a thread adapter that allows the mask to be used with more modern NATO filters free of any potentially harmful chemicals.
