Get rid of win and you’re in. If you win like 3 races, sure. Automatic playoff appearance. But someone who rides in the back all year shouldn’t be in when they get lucky at Daytona or talladega

26/10 for starters get rid of the win and you're in. Get rid of the crowning the regular season champion. The top 15 or 20 in points at the end of the 26 races get to move on to a 10 race shootout. Reset the points the driver with the most points at the end of them 10 races is your champion. You can make them 10 races a little bit more challenging by allowing those drivers to earn extra points or even taking points away by penalties.

Ask yourself, when was the last time the grandstands went crazy when a driver took the lead? They haven’t cause we don’t have a star! Jr took the lead and the fans lost thier shit. That my friends is the problem with @nascar No Star power. End of story.
