Ther is always some degree of peel no matter how slick you think it is. 5 coats clear. Well I paint some tri coats red that have a tinted clear. Not bacecoat!! It takes two coats of tinted clear and we put 3 coats of clear on all cars. I have no problem with 5 coats.

Five coats is perfect because you will sand off two coats to make it real slick but still have what the factory recommends to protect a basecoat. I agree 100%.

Got to be careful with a hard block. any grit between then paper and car will leave deep scratches. need to be super clean when blocking
