Issue is – Biden didn’t know Kamala was gonna be his successor. They should’ve held a primary if he didn’t choose to run again, in which case he wouldn’t prop her up because he doesn’t know if she’s the candidate. Since he dropped out later it was too late to prop her up but if he dropped out earlier in the race that doesn’t guarantee Kamala the nominee
