@mossnightwing: Haven't you missed our cringe DID videos? screen text: writing DID/ OSDD: Alters have roles, but they're hardly as clean cut as people would like. When someone needs to rest others' cover: new alters show up, folks come out of "retirement," etc. Besides that, as fast as they may work to nail down "who does what," roles change with the system's needs. It's not always lemme get Jeff he's the gatekeeper. Sometimes it's "idk whose doing that job they havent made themselves known yet", "the hesdspace is like walking through the mist who knows whats back there", or "you arent cleared to know that 💕sorry💕". #writingtraumatizedcharacters #writingtips #dissociativeidentitydisorder #tipfromasensitivityreader #fanfic

“We currently have a vacancy for that role and it’s up on Mind LinkedIn, but the recruitment process is taking a while.” 😝

slightly off topic but does anyone have examples of GOOD rep for osdd/did in media? I can think of so many things with bad rep, and I know a bit about what osdd/did can actually be like, but I don't think I've seen any good shows/books that include that

one of our headmates is a retired persecutor. in high school he worked very hard on himself with a lot of support from outside the system, and took on a more caretaking role. nowadays he fronts pretty rarely, and when he does it's mostly to play Tetris. always proud of you Whitley
