im such a huge fan. but as someone in vet med some of the comments made are not it. im so sorry for what happened. but this is why we struggle in vet med due to some of these comments made. vet med can be expensive. so is human med but most people have insurance so you dont see the full costs of things. 90% dont have pet insurance so therefore you see yhe full price. im so glad she survived and is doing well. but please do better with wording and prices of vet med because this isn't it.

As someone who I know pays a premium to her horse vet for things, I'm sad to hear you discuss things for Winnie like the price wasnt validated. Your dog had a drain placed - she absolutely had a surgery. That procedure alone isn't cheap! Oxygen therapy? Not cheap. ER techs are grossly underpaid and underappreciated. You're always asking your fans to do better, and now your vetmed fans are asking you to do better. That bill was valid.

for some peace of mind there are definitely healthy bulldogs out there from ethical breeders. I've seen them do full on agility courses. 🖤

Katie, I highly encourage you to watch the documentary called “The Cost of Caring” it can bring some great light to you what the veterinary field is dealing with. I know you said you were not mad at the vets and techs, but the negativity was still toward the vet field. I respect you, but this is one time that I completely disagree with you and it was hurtful to a field I’ve gave my heart, blood, sweat and tears to.

Poor Winnie! So happy she is doing okay💕 Even though they have breathing problems, bulldogs are very tough-bodied. I’m sure that helped! Good job healing so well strong-girl Winnie!!
