May I introduce my favorite bit of removal, Oubliette. Its a black enchantment that phases a creature out on etb. Not destroy, or exile. Phases out. Treated as though it doesn't exist, and doesn't change zones. Until they get enchantment removal, their commander is just gone. I have locked people out of the game before.

With Tameshi, Reality Architect as your commander you can play paralax wave as a removal engine by exiling creatures with it and than using something like a voidmage husher to stifle the leaves the battlefield trigger and keep all of the creatures in exile. Than with Tameshi you can pay to recur the paralax wave after useing the stifle. This works great because with voidmage husher specifically you can repeatedly use it by casting a spell to bounce it to hand which will also draw you a card off Tameshi.
