Yes it’s very normal that he is hiding. It will take him time, and he will probably come out at night. He is probably just fine. It just takes time, it’s just nature.

Give him a few days. Cats aren’t good with change. A few miles to you is a whole different world to him.

Aw you love him so much. He will be ok. Smells. Throw some of your worn sweaters around on the floor.

It’s normal boo. PJ acted the same when we moved. It’ll take a week or two for him to get comfortable enough. Put the litter box and food in the same space as that couch, if that’s his “chill” spot for now.

When we moved, our old diabetic cat disappeared for two weeks. Then we moved again and he was fine. There was some bad energy in the house.

Move him to a small room where with water and food and a litter box, he needs time to get used to new smells, sounds, everything new. He will be ok, I promise, put his sister in there with him over night. When you move you need to give cats an area of their own first, most don't do well just have the whole hose at once, it's too much! Especially boys idk why. 🫂🌈🥰😻

When I moved, short move, bigger place they should have been pleased. 😂 The cat freaking out at the old place when movers arrived- adapted in a minute. The cat who was chill about the movers- big mad at new house. They were fine in like 24/48 hours.

Hang in there. Put some couch cushions that maybe he sat on or some of your sweatshirts but he will come out.

Totally normal. He’s not sad or mad, just a little nervous and unsure. Offer water and food in the room he’s hiding but not under the bed. Cats can take up to two weeks to adjust and feel confident in exploring but after a few days he’ll eat and drink. Keeping it quiet. Offering him super yummy treats can get his appetite moving.

This is totally normal. I have two cats and have moved with them a few times now. One will be exploring as soon as everything is in the new place and the cats are no longer confined to one room and the other takes a solid 24hrs to (hesitantly) start checking things out. Your baby will be okay. Let him decompress in his own time and just make sure he knows where his food, water, and litterbox are.

It's normal. Different cats handle change differently. I had a cat not eat/poop for 2 days after a move. Then he explored a bit and started coming out.
