It’s so hard for new players to get invested in POT and the Isle as those are the only Dino sim games of their kind and anyone new has to play with people who have played it for years. The knowledge gap, the skill gap, compared with a relatively low player base and relatively low interest in the genre is rough. I want those games to be more popular and want more people to play it, but damn it’s genuinely awful to learn from nothing as a noob on these games
