@nonsensi.cal_lyrics: trick question: people that adamantly hate cats or would never ever want to care for them for certain specific reasons (like "they don't return love" or "they're cold") usually just don't understand boundaries at all. the actual issue is that I don't tend to think I should have any boundaries to protect myself but will not let someone I love harm somebody else, or risk it. it's. really easy to convince me that I'm hurting someone by setting a boundary. but since that fear IS that someone will get hurt because of me the second my partner or friend or whatever starts to hurt others or makes me think they might they're all the fuck the way out of my life. #boundaries #cats #consent #abuse #survivor
