All diabetic patients need to be on rosuvastatin. All prediabetic patients should be on metformin. Both should have nutritional consult and exercise program

Patients with prediabetes already have micro vascular damage. Increase in A1C from 6.4 to 6.5 doesn’t magically start micro vascular damage.
