What is meant for you will always reach you. Be it a spouse, a job, degree or house or whatever else. Everything was written and will come to you in its time. Make dua until it becomes your reality. Sometimes we so desperately pray for things, which whether we realise it or not, will actually harm us and bring us away from our deen. We become impatient with our duas or start doubting Allah will accept it. This hastiness and doubt is one of the reasons your dua may not be being accepted. Sometimes the answer to our dua isn't in the way we imagined it. But in Allah's infinite Wisdom and Mercy that is how He chose for it to be. Other times Allah saves our duas for the Day of Judgement. When we see the rewards for patience we will wish all our duas had been saved. How ever Allah accepts your duas, know that He answered it in the best way, even if your mind cannot comprehend it in the moment. Don't forget He is the best of planners and the Opener. He will grant you rizq from places you could never imagine and will find you a way out of situations even if it seems impossible. Always make sure to start your duas with gratitude and seeking repentance. We sin and wrong Allah constatly and so it wouldn't be appropriate to ask for something straight away. Allah has 99 beautiful names for you to call Him by, so use them in your duas and send Salawat upon the Prophet (ﷺ). Do not feel like you are restricted in what you ask for. Even if you feel like you are the worst Muslim ask for Jannatul Firduas because your Lord is shy to return your prayers with you empty handed. If Allah is the King of all the worlds, who are you to say He cannot grant you what your heart desires? We do need to work for our rizq as well. Yes, you put your trust in Allah but you tie your camel too. If you want a job for halal income go out and seek it. If you want good grades, put in the time and effort to revise so that you can serve people and please Allah with your education. If it is a pious spouse you want, seek them in a halal manner and involve your walis immediately. Put the effort into learning your deen first. Understand your rights and responsibilities. Work on yourself. A bird does not return to its nest in the morning with a full belly, except with the provision and help of Allah and seeking out the food in the early hours. I have so many blessings in my life right now that if you told me a year ago about them i wouldnt believe you because they seemed so impossible. All answers to so many long prayers and duas. Alhamdulilah for all our duas that were accepted immediately and Alhamdulilah for those that are being delayed, either to later in this life or in the Next. I'm so blessed to have so many beautiful souls around me. My beautiful Ukhtis who remind me of my deen, my answered prayer and part of my rizq. Alhamdulilah for having a means to earn halal income and free myself from student debt/interest. Alhamdulilah for access to both a secular and Islamic education. Alhamdulilah for safety, clean water and food. Alhamdulilah that Allah chose me out of the billions of souls that have existed to not only be a Muslim but to be pursuing a path of knowledge of His deen. #muslim #dua #alhamdulilah #tahajjud #niqab
