My son was hospitalized on Tuesday, we have Tricare. They better not send me a single bill. I will not be paying ANYTHING. My husband is still at work but he won’t be paid. Any other profession this would be unacceptable! But we are expected to just wait around to be paid?

I got out of the army and my husband is still in the army but it is ridiculous that being in the army you don’t get paid a lot unless you are a higher ranking officer. My husband and I have a 1 year old son and I am currently 7 months pregnant with our second. I believe that if the military isn’t getting paid then they shouldn’t have to work because we signed a contract saying that we will get paid.

hi! so here's my hot take. not only should congress not be paid, all of their assets should be frozen. then they can feel that payday pinch just like us. oh and those Monday through Friday 9-5? lmao nope. they should be pulling 7 12s till the job is done, just as it's expected of our troops 💜💜 holding the livelihood of American citizens hostage is a despicable thing to do on all fronts. I'm not blaming dems. I'm not blaming repubs. I'm blaming the government as a whole. this system is broken, it is hurting the citizens of the country congress is elected to represent. we need to make changes so these hostage situations are no longer the answer and the livelihood of constituents are not used as a bargaining tool. ✌
