Look here’s the thing I love dayseeker but if something sounds good im finna listen to it 🤷♀️that’s not a knock on dayseeker but you can get mad at someone for doing what they like to do 🤦♀️that’s like saying you can sing but I can’t so you shouldn’t do it. Not fair.

Just an FYI as an actual writer, AI will not use actual music from actual bands. They can’t ripoff it off and will tell you such. Unfortunately a majority of music sounds the same. That in itself is a whole different issue. If you’re using it when you don’t have the privilege of obtaining vocalists, bands and producers… I don’t see the issue of using it to conceptualize your lyrics as a song writer.

I just found out who these guys are and I listened to their top couple songs (knowing it’s AI) to see what it’s all about and honestly some of those songs rip really hard. I also read their bio which explains that it’s human written lyrics with ai made instruments and as someone who has had times with musical ideas and been without tools to execute it I honestly don’t mind. Ultimately there’s someone out there pouring out their feelings into their lyrics and honestly I’m happy that they have an outlet to make a product and to make their lyrics come to life. However I don’t think they should be getting paid for it. (This is my opinion as a musician)

as someone who's been to 6 of your shows in the ohio, ky, in area. thats something AI can NEVER recreate. yall are my safe space and music I turn on to get it all out. AI has nothing on yall.

Sadly in our current “get rich quick, easy way out” society and lack of control over ai. This type of music won’t go anywhere. Is not damaging? Yes. But will it destroy real bands? I don’t think so. Over time people will get tired of no connection. No live shows, no music videos to relate. Etc. but disregard these bands if you can.

The difference between AI bands and actual bands is that people who willingly know they are listening to AI, know they'll never get to jam to that music live like a real band. When it comes to supporting real bands I'm 100% down for it. But if I find a song that is AI that just hits me the right way, I'm gonna listen to it. Yes people can listen to AI and still support bands. Now if there's proof that the music is literally being taken from a bands song rather than just being inspired by it, sure that's fuxked up.

I use the DJ mix on Spotify fairly often. I noticed they threw in bleeding verse pretty frequently even though I hadn't listened to them previously. it just makes me wonder if they are being pushed into playlists. needless to say since ive seen this, bleeding verse has been an immediate skip.
