@chezchaya: 🥟 Liver Kreplach (Jewish Dumplings) @chezchaya I sauté one big Spanish onion in oil until it’s beautifully golden. Then I clean the liver take off all the stringy bits and season it with paprika, salt, and honey or brown sugar . Since the liver is already cooked, I just toss it in with the onions for a few minutes so the flavors come together. Then I blend it with a blade and a little water or mayo until smooth but still a bit textured. Now it’s ready for the kreplach. I fill the ravioli dough, seal the edges with a bit of water, and drop them into boiling salted water with a splash of oil. They usually take about 6–8 minutes, until they float to the top that’s when they’re ready. Serve them plain, with fried onions, or in chicken soup.
