As a iep kid they don’t know how to teach us right then get mad when we don’t get it. My mom was just like you she did not play.

My daughter’s teacher tried that last week, and I told her that my kid knew everything before starting school this year. I’m not sure what’s going on!

As an educator I agree that isn’t a way to speak to a parent and it sounds like the same attitude they gave you they gave your child and that isn’t right. Clearly the child doesn’t connect with her and that is important!

Yep! My daughter went into kinder knowing to count to 100 and her name address etc knew everything. However she would act a fool during assessments and would act like she didn’t know it 😂 at the IEP meeting the teacher kept saying she didn’t know any of it so I had to step in 😂

Always Advocate for Yours. I don’t advocate violence but in my head I was pulling up with you. Call a parent/teacher meeting and invite the principal requesting a teacher change.
