When I used to get my nails done on the regular a few years ago, my tech bless his soul best person ever, he gave me a free set cause I didn’t go in for 4 weeks, he called me and asked where I was at I said I had a lot of bills he’s like come on in it’s on me

I didn’t go to my nail place for a year after I had my baby, and my first time back the owner ran up to me asking how I’ve been doing, how’s the baby doing etc. and then gave me some free products. Like it costs next to nothing to show an ounce of loyalty to customers.

I once completely no showed a hair appointment on accident without realizing because I was so busy. Usually the stylist charge %100 of the service fees for no shows, but my stylist waived it and just booked me another appointment with no extra charge. I’ve been going to her for several years now because she is absolutely amazing and I tip her accordingly 🫶

i recently missed an appointment because i had the time wrong in my head and when i got the calendar notification i called immediately (so right when it was supposed to start) to reschedule and i was like “i know there’s a fee to reschedule so late and that’s totally fine, it was my fault” and she was like girl… be so for real. this isn’t a pattern for you, obviously we’re going to waive that

I’ve been going to my wax lady for years. Slept through my 8am appointment a few weeks ago (I’ve never even been 2 minutes late before). We laughed about it on the phone and she told me to come after the studio technically closes. No extra fee. This is the service I’ve maintained even when money was tight.

Mind you, being 15 mins late, the nail tech could’ve still fit her in but just say that they would have to go with a simpler design to fit in the time slot and then key the client decide if they wanna reschedule or not. Just automatically wanting to reschedule without finding a middle ground is weird.
