I feel like hes leaving something out because I don't know how he wouldnt notice her getting ready herself. also the waiting with the baby makes me assume the baby is also dressed and ready. like maybe both of them need to communicate better or something idk

nta she's doing this on purpose just so she has something to fight about later and there's absolutely no reason why she cannot sit there be like hey in 10 minutes will be leaving she knows what time she's leaving she's doing this to upset you and make you seem like the bad guy. next time she does it take longer if she gets upset you tell her "well I asked you earlier you didn't give me a time frame I'm not going to rush because you weren't rushing until last minute that's not on me that's on you"

My husband is a master procrastinator. His on time is pulling into the parking lot at appointment time. He will put clothes on and then sit on the couch and game in his phone. Then, once I am fully dressed and ready, we start the process. I’m ready, “give. E a second I just have to put my shoes on”, “1, seconds up”, 5 minutes later………, “ come on, I’m ready, you still don’t have your shoes on”, “well I was just waiting on you to get dressed”, “OMFGoodness”, husband puts shoes on and goes to the bathroom, gets drink, does 5 other things, finally we leave and I realize I forgot something because I had to fight him into the car like a kid. This husband reminds me of my husband. Don’t get me wrong… I love my husband, I am a spoiled traditional wife that is an obsessive planner and being on time is being late, I like to be 15 minutes early to everything.

my pet peeve is someone asking me if I'm ready yet. And then they wait outside as if its a race to be ready. it drives me nuts and I tell them I will be ready at the agreed time.

Depends on if she was asking him to get ready 15-30 minutes earlier. My ex is had to tell everything started 15 minutes earlier, get all the kids ready myself, and then go sit in the car to get us anywhere on time. He didnt care but my anxiety went haywire if we weren't at somewhere a minimum of 5 minutes early
