It wasn’t always easy- navigating emotions and adjusting to change takes time. But through the journey, Holly’s daughter began to understand the importance of building trust, overcoming anxiety, and giving relationships space to grow. She developed extra “strings of empathy”, learning to speak to her new brother in ways that reassured him and made him feel safe.
