I had originally planned to do her in June after finishing the last book in May but sadly due to the unforeseen four deaths (my two fur babies Peppermint and Misty, my mother in law, and my uncle) and my trip to Japan (which I am so thankfully we did now), and my son’s trip to Disney world, universal Florida, and the Disney wish cruise. I haven’t really done much cosplaying outside of conventions or events. But in September i decided to make sure she was apart of my October plans. 🦊👑♥️🏹 It was an absolute dream come true to finally step into the world of the Magnificent North and embody Evangeline Fox. Evangeline, the optimistic and stylish heart of the Once Upon a Broken Heart trilogy, a brilliant sequel to the beloved Caraval series, was the perfect starting point for my carnaval cosplay journey. I confess, I had the perfect foundation of pink and yellow garments already in my closet, which made cosplaying the ‘little fox’ her signature light dresses an easy first choice—though her sweeping, heart-stopping gold dress remains the costume I am most eager to recreate. This series is so distinct because, for once, I genuinely loved all three main female leads, cementing Scarlett and Donatella as my next planned projects! Each one of them I felt a small connection with. (Though Donatella and Legend is my favorite couple and a planned couple cosplay with the hubby) Evangeline’s journey, especially her complicated and captivating romance with Jacks, the Prince of Hearts, is the anchor of the trilogy. With their dark fates, magical curses, and whimsical settings, both trilogies capture that irresistible, slightly sinister magic that gives off major Alice in Wonderland vibes, making this world an endless source of inspiration. 🦊👑♥️🏹 #onceuponabrokenheart #littlefox #princeofhearts
