@matcha.snob: ✨ Trying out “Unkaku” from Marukyu Koyamaen 🍵🌸 one of their premium grade matcha powders! Upon opening, I was greeted with a vibrant green hue and a sweet aroma. 🌿 As an usucha, it’s rich, smooth, and umami-forward. This was the best usucha I have tried so far! I drank it so fast haha. There was no bitterness of astringency at all! 🥛 As a latte, it was creamy and full bodied with sweet undertones. The depth has mellowed out with milk but not so much for me (I use skim milk + soy milk). It was still umami and I feel like the sweetness was enhanced.
