I’ve been pre ordering there for years too because it’s across the street from me. They always open a register. This year they even let people continue pre ordering up until the release time. I’ve always paid in full to pre order just in case though.

this is why I stopped going to gamestop. I pre-ordered expedition 33 and when I went for my copy they gave it to someone else. the manager the next day gave me the lumiere edition for the price of the base game

At my gamestop we needed to go between 3-6 to finish paying off the game and then comeback for the midnight release

Dang, here in Florida they were doing final payments on release night.

gamestop I used to go to would call the day before and tell me that they were having a midnight release but the game has to be paid in full if I wanted to pick it up at 9 pm

Daaaaang😭 the good thing is you got it! I live up in SoCal mountains (BB) and I forgot my receipt🫠 glad they were able to print me out a new one before they closed. I would’ve been devasted because I literally just went for the game that day😭
