Getting injured was a part of my journey I NEVER prepared for. Every other time I had lost weight and then stopped grinding, my weight would come back with interest, but this time that wasn’t the case. I was not able to move very much, but I was able to control my nutrition and my mindset. After all was said and done, I gained about 5-10lbs (my weight fluctuates daily), l lost a bit of muscle and lost a WHOLE lot of strength. I am feeling much better and I’m working  to get back to 100%. I don’t post much because I have a full time job AND a small business, but last and certainly not least, and I’m the mom to a velicoprator with opposable thumbs, who just so happens to be home for summer break. Time is my most precious resource nowadays. It feels like most days, life has me double booked for trials and tribulations. My favorite thing about lifting is how efficient and quick a workout can be. Only have 30-40 minutes a few times a week to workout? That’s no problem! Lifting can get you together. Quick temp check: is anyone else like me and are short on time, constantly juggling all the things, but still want to feel strong, capable, and like you again? FELT.
