I served years ago but if someone told me hey I'm a college student and I'm just trying to treat myself. I would go out of my way for them to get something extra. I always helped out high-school students out on a date. I knew they didn't have money.

I never worked is the service industry but my rule is 5% for bad service and up to 25% depending the service. But I always tip regardless. But if you get that 5%, you were bad.

I'm ALWAYS the 50% solo tip at the bar solo. I just want my water with lemon, a Tom Collins and bone in wings sauce on the side. plenty of napkins! If I need anything else it'll be a box. I won't bother you further. I'm there to relax and wind down! It's always so cheap I tip 50%.

I worked in rich neighborhood but treated everyone like they wanted to have a great time and they weren’t rich! Damn tips came big and everyone ne left with a great time!
