@drrajarora: A huge step forward for women’s health endometriosis diagnosis could soon take weeks instead of years. Faster answers mean faster treatment, less suffering, and more women finally being believed instead of dismissed. This is the progress we’ve been waiting for. #Endometriosis #WomensHealth #MedicalBreakthrough #ChronicIllness #HealthNews
Can you have endometriosis and PCOS? I’ve known I’ve had endometriosis since I was 16 after I had emergency appendix surgery and they discovered it there. I’ve had sooooo many tests over the years and now I’ve had hormonal testing and they are saying PCOS too. I’m confused how nothing was picked ho sooner?!

This is very interesting. However gynaecologists tell us to go on hormones eg Mirena coil or progesterone only pill so we wouldn’t have had a period for years

Have you heard of Endosure ? It’s a non invasive test for endo that looks at specific bio markers and is 98-99% sensitive. Had this for my endo diagnosis and results back the next day !

mri scan came back clear but every ultrasound scan I've had has shown repetitive ovarian cysts and endometriosis? I'm meant to have my first surgery in November after 11 years of problems and fighting

Why is everyone so negative? You know what you also need to study a disease? You need woman that will sign up to get studied, there is also no cure for cancer yet. I think this is great, my wife was told she was just exaggerating for years. And just like every woman, she needed surgery to get a diagnosis. This will help thousands if not millions of woman to get an quick diagnosis

Will this work if the patient only has bowel/bladder endo? 🤔 I’ve heard of cases where endo appear a lot of other places and not near the uterus

I think this is amazing news, unfortunately for me, I presented with pain but no period, which added to the length of time before I was diagnosed, what happens for those who are like me?

This is all well and good but a cure, an identification of the cause, no medical menopause or surgical outcomes would be preferable

I'm just at a loss for it. Accepted I'm going to be in chronic pain and not be able to live a normal life again, always look pregnant etc. NHS don't take me seriously and judt going back and forth and being fobbed off. Being diagnosed isnt even half the issue. Wouldn't wish it upon anyone 🙄

I am convinced mine is back after 7 years lost radical hysterectomy. I don't know if I should take it further when others need it more than me 😔 I'm torn as 3 surgeries later it's not solve dit... Is it worth looking into other therapies as we'd exhausted it I felt before my hysterectomy. I am crippled daily with it now
